Toolbars

GeoViewer Online has a main toolbar and an advanced toolbar as well as tabs along the right pane with more tools. You will be using most of the tools as you work with the Tutorial. Use this page to familiarize yourself with them.

All the tools in the image show tool tips A little yellow box that appears when you hold the cursor over a button, which tells you what the button is for. On the main toolbars most tools are identified with text, but tooltips are very useful in tools like the Image Viewer. when you hold your cursor over them a second. They are linked to pages in the Reference Section.

Main Toolbar

The Main Toolbar runs down the left side of the screen.

Advanced Toolbar

Click the Advanced Toolbar button at the bottom of the Main Toolbar to open it along the bottom of the screen.

Processing time

When you perform an operation in GeoViewer Online, it may take several seconds to process and display the information. This banner displays while it is processing.
