.Zoom way in to see the features you want clearly.
Click Select with Polygon
.Click with the cursor at each corner of a shape that includes or touches any features you want to include. Double-click to close the shape.

Select using a polygon
You can select a group of features more selectively by drawing a shape around them with the Select with Polygon tool from the Advanced Toolbar.
Turn on the Advanced Toolbar .
