Use the Print
button on the Main
Toolbar to print the map in the main window, including any annotations
you may have added with the Drawing Control from
the Advanced Toolbar.
With the Print tool, you can also add a legend and title text and select paper orientation and scale.
You can print the annotated map on your printer or as a PDF, or email it directly.
Note: The Preview
occurs in a Pop-Up window. Make
sure your Pop-Up Blockers allow pop-ups
from http://www.geovieweronline.net/.
Note: To print directly from the preview pop-up, select Print
directly from Print Preview in My Profile
.
Prepare the map view
Click the Print button.
Check if you want to include a Legend.
Use the Legend Manager to refine the legend.
Enter Map Titles.
Select Paper Size and Portrait or Landscape Orientation.
Select the Scale if appropriate.
Preview and Print
Select Preview to preview the map before printing in a pop-up window.
If you have set your Profile to print directly from the preview, your Print Manager opens so you can print.
Otherwise right click the picture and select Print.
Print to PDF
Select Print to PDF Portable Document Format : a file format developed by Adobe to display documents independent of the original application used to create it. PDF can be generated using XML to make an electronic version of your map that you can email or save on your computer. Select Print to PDF to make an electronic version of your map that you can email or save on your computer. Select Open, if you just want to preview it, or Save in the dialogue box.
