Pan

Use Pan to move the map in any direction within the main window.

1. Click the Pan button. Wait for the cursor to change to a hand.
2. Click a spot on the map you want to move.
3. Hold down the mouse button and drag the cursor across the screen in any direction to the new location for the spot.
4. Release the mouse button. The map moves within the main window.

Pan using the directional points on the desktop

Another way to pan is to click the light blue directional indicators (which turn orange) on the edges of the map to navigated North, South, East West, or diagonally.

Note: Create a bookmark to quickly return to the same scale and location.
